Johny (Charles Dera) and Emma Smith (Ryan Keely) are looking for a new country house so they can finally leave the big city with their daughter, Charlotte (Khloe Kapri). They are helped by Emily (Kendra Spade), a friendly real estate agent, who finds them the house of their dreams at an unbeatable price. John buys the house in the hope that it will help him return to a normal married life. Things get complicated when Emily starts showing up at the house unexpectedly, popping up at all hours of the day and night and interfering in their lives. Emilly will do whatever it takes to make her mark in this perfect American family, even if it means tearing them apart.
