In the 90s, video clubs were places of fantasy for many movie lovers. In 1993, in Los Angeles, Nicole (Nicole Kitt) and Gal (Gal Ritchie) work at the local video club. Throughout the day, they juggle between eccentric customers and their personal love stories. Weird Larry (Tommy Pistol) is certainly the strangest and most eccentric customer in the store. Every morning, he is there at the opening, and only one section interests him… adult films.
For Gal, life must be lived fast, without taking time to settle down. That’s why she jumps from one-night stands without taking the time to get to know her partners. All she wants is pleasure, right away. In fact, nothing amuses her more than shocking Nicole by telling her about her wild sexual adventures, like the threesome with Harry (Isiah Maxwell) and Dan (Dan Damage) in the store when she was alone.
On the other hand, Nicole is more thoughtful and wants to find the right person to start a lasting relationship. She is not indifferent to the charm of Mike (Nathan Bronson), who seems to visit them more and more often. The only problem, for now, is that club policy forbids employees from forming too "personal" connections with customers. Despite their different views on life, the two friends love spending time together, chatting about everything and nothing while enduring their customers' whims.
Today, their boss, Mr. Kelly (Ryan Driller), arrives with Missy (Chanel Camryn), who seems eager to work at the video club while enjoying many "perks." Naturally, Mr. Kelly is married, and his wife must not find out about his extramarital affairs. He also has a very personal way of conducting interviews with new recruits. So, chances are Missy will get the job much faster than expected.
Tonight, as Gal and Nicole thought they would have a quiet shift, they spot three customers they had never seen before. Liz Jordan, accompanied by Roman Todd and Oliver Davis, seems much more interested in the two men than in the movies. She just wanted to have some fun in an unusual place, but unlike Weird Larry, who spends his days masturbating in the adult section, Liz takes her partners to the store's backyard for a screening a little more exciting than the one they had originally planned.
This day is definitely not like any other. Usually, Gal and Nicole just have to rewind VHS tapes and advise customers, but today, it's as if all the pleasure-seekers decided to meet at the store. Until now, only Larry was a regular in the adult section, but tonight, he is joined by a rather strange woman (Queenie Sateen), who seems just as knowledgeable on the subject as he is. Usually a loner, Larry will finally enjoy the company of a woman—or maybe two—because Gal, a little frustrated and too excited by the situation, can't help but join the couple.
Despite the video club’s rules, Nicole hopes that Mike will come to see her before closing. As she listens to her colleague’s ramblings, her wish comes true, as Mike, a true martial arts film enthusiast, offers to keep her company while she closes the shop… Could he be the prince charming she has been waiting for all this time?
